Today in PMQs I asked Deputy PM Oliver Dowden to give the green light to the Aylesbury Spur of East West Rail. I was pleased to hear work is being carried out by Department for Transport, Network Rail and East West Rail on a cheaper proposal.

Aylesbury is a great place to visit as Easter approaches, but the town also faces some challenges. We especially need Government help to regenerate our town centre and so attract more people to strengthen our local economy.
I'm delighted that after years of campaigning, the Justice Secretary, Dominic Raab, has announced that the Government will introduce an Independent Public Advocate. This will help victims and the bereaved get the support they need following large-scale public disasters.
