It was great to visit Stoke Mandeville Hospital this morning to meet two award-winning teams. Doctors, nurses and researchers in pain management have developed a new way to help patients with rib fractures, with a mobile unit that goes to individual wards.
It was good to drop into Chiltern Railways Meet the Manager session at a chilly Marylebone station this evening. I raised the need for longer trains out of Aylesbury, got an update on new rolling stock, and heard from Network Rail about plans to improve Aylesbury station.
