Rob's statement after vote on new coronavirus restrictions

This afternoon, Rob was due to speak in the Commons debate on introducing new national regulations to combat coronavirus. Where he wanted to raise the concerns of local people about further nationwide restrictions, while recognising the intense pressure on the NHS.

Rob's statement on the free school meals vote

Firstly, I want to be absolutely clear; the Government will continue to provide free school meals for children in term-time. Yesterday’s vote does nothing to change that fact.
