Today in Armed Forces Week, Aylesbury MP, Rob Butler, is highlighting the work of local cadets and Cadet Force volunteers.

As Scams Awareness Fortnight draws to a close, Aylesbury MP, Rob Butler, is calling for people to stay alert to COVID-19 related scams.

Rob said:  

“Criminals have used the coronavirus crisis as an opportunity to attempt to scam innocent people and their businesses.  

Today in Parliament, Rob has asked the Prime Minister about help for people seeking new jobs in the wake of the coronavirus crisis. 

Rob has given his wholehearted support to the Prime Minister’s announcement in Parliament today, outlining the next steps out of the lockdown.

On 18 June, Rob spoke in Parliament about the continued funding of the African Development Bank and how it's essential to help millions more out of poverty, whilst also ensuring value for the UK taxpayer.

Aylesbury MP, Rob Butler, has today urged the Prime Minister to do all he can to support local businesses as they emerge from the Covid-19 lockdown.  

Aylesbury MP, Rob Butler, has welcomed the reopening of local stores this week, calling it a “big step in the right direction which will help to revitalise our local economy”.

In Parliament today, Aylesbury MP, Rob Butler, asked Minister of State for Regional Growth and Local Government, Simon Clarke MP, for assurance that funding for Aylesbury Garden Town projects will still be delivered, in light of the economic impact of the coronavirus crisis. 

The Aylesbury constituency has received unprecedented economic support to protect jobs and businesses during the coronavirus outbreak.

Racism in all its forms is totally unacceptable. The scenes in Minneapolis were abhorrent and criminal proceedings are rightly underway against those involved in the death of George Floyd.

It's absolutely right that we call out racism and discrimination wherever we see it.
